Dj Aziz
It
all began in his native city of Tunis. Dj Aziz slowly gained interest in
deejing when a little vinyl shop called Music World first opened its doors
in his neighbourhood. At the time it was the meeting point of many local
djs. In the beginning, he was attracted by styles such as RnB, Hip Hop,
Funk &Soul. It is only in 2000, when he leaves his homeland to
pursue his studies in Montreal, Canada that he begins to converge the
musical gendres of House, Tribal & Progressive. In 2003, his passion for
RnB ended when he decided to dedicate himself fully to the House movement
by organizing special events. Exposure to those events had him playing
Chus & Ceballos, Dj Tarkan, Danny Tenaglia, Behrouz, D-Formation, Saeed
Younan Matthew DK, John Creamer and Roger Sanchez. And, it is through his
friend Dj Franco Fabi, that he really began to feel house music in his
soul. By remaining on watch for the world's most talented Dj's as well as
remaing true to his style, Aziz will progressively develop his carreer as
a Dj. Thus far, he has played in the most notorious clubs of Montreal:
Circus, Upper Club, House, Stereo Bar, Caprice...
